As with any craft it is fun to mix up mediums and explore, you can find whatever you have on hand to decorate your crow. One of my little frogs added pumpkin seeds and they looked so cute! I think next year I’ll try to dye the seeds black! First, cut one paper plate in half and then used a hole punch to add the holes.
I punched a hole on each side of the uncut plate, and one hole on the inside of the cut plate. Using the brads I attached the plates to create the crow body. I did this work and had it ready for paint because we just don’t have enough time in class for my Frogs to finish.
I like to set out all the supplies and then walk away and let them create!
After the crows were dry I added them to our Fall Bulletin Board!
To complete our board I added our Footprint Turkeys only this year the Frogs used finger paint to create their turkey feathers! It just so happened to work with our Letter of the Week Letter F!
