Letter Tracing Box

Learning the shape and feel of a letter by tracing it first.

Every Monday in our classroom we have a new Letter of the Week. We spend the first day tracing the letter with our Tracing box, making the letter with our bodies and building the letter with wood letter blocks. This is my introduction to the letter. I also use the trace box for shapes, numbers and good old drawing. To make it fun I change the sand to fit our them.For example, Orange sand with pumpkin spice for Fall.
