To get started I had different colored pre- cut Squirrels for the children to choose from. They added their Squirrel to the tube. I used the oatmeal in our sensory table for I Spy Apple Pie! Then using a spoon they dropped in the paint filled Acorn and placed the lid on the tube. Then the fun began they shook that tube as hard as they could.When finished we removed the lid and pulled out their Squirrel while the paint was wet they added a button nose, Google eye and a tab that said Acorn Painting,this helps them remember how they made their Squirrel when asked! Use the glue to hole the button and Eye!
