Today we started out on an unknown adventure. We wanted to check out a sign that we had driven past before, turns out it was no so special. We found our self's in Brinnon looking for a locals hike called Rocky Brook Falls. When you put this into map quest it takes you way out of the way. Although it was beautiful it was to me a scary logging road. We then went back to town to "Try again". Three times we did this in the process we checked out the Seal Rock Campground andĀ  Dosewallips campground.

  1. The direction from the title link are the best, really it's so easy you pass it. Coming into Brinnon take Dosewallips River Road about 3miles up. Cross a small bridge there is parking on the side of the road. The path starts across the street next to a electric station follow along the side and then it becomes clear. The path itself is easy and not long to get to the falls. The day we did it there were many families enjoying a quick swim!
  2. There are no bathrooms!!! However before you go up Dosewallips Rd on the 101 is the Dosewallips campground on the right and park on the left. The park hasĀ  nice clean, large bathrooms, so we went before and then after there is not much else.
  3. A great family day trip not to long, fun playing and exploring. Be sure to have life vest for the little ones! Have Fun!!
