Preschool Valentines
Finger Painted Window Art
To make our Preschool Valentines Finger Painted Window Art we used wax paper! At our preschool we found we were using a ton of contact paper at at high cost to the school. I have been trying to find new ways to create the Stained Glass effect without using contact paper. This was a easy art project to set out simply tape the wax paper to a tray, to prevent it from rolling up on you while you work. Then set out the finger paint and watch them go! My favorite part was hearing one friend explain to me he did not want to get his hands dirty. I said that’s OK and while I was trying to think of something else for him to do he dipped one finger into the paint, I was so proud of him trying something new. Before long he had both hands in the paint laughing and swirling the paint around. Days like this are why I love my Job!!
