This week our Letter of the Week is “Y”. This year we tried a new technique to painting with yarn, I like to call Yarn Snap. Easy to set up and kids kids really enjoyed the noise of the yarn snapping and the paint slapping onto the paper. I added our Letter Y art to this years Alphabet Book!

Then I slipped the paper under the yarn on the tray, because this was for our Alphabet Book our white paper had the Letter Y. Then paint the yarn when finished pinch and pull the yarn up and letting go to snap splatter the paint onto the paper. This art activity could truly be hours of fun!
