Fun Preschool activities that use all five scenes to explore the Letter of the Week M! This week our Letter is combined with the shapes Oval, Square and Heart. Monday we started by talking about the artist Claude Monet, the colors he used the look of his paintings and most importantly to the children was what does he look like. I put together a little sheet with some of his works and his photo and attached this to our easel. We talked about how his paintings can be seen in a museum. The children painted their Monet inspired works using only Q Tips! We then filled the walls and our classroom was now a museum! Loved it!!!

Sensory Activities
In our Sensory table I added two boxes of Baking Soda.Then when everyone was ready I added a small amount of shaving cream in front of each child. They then mixed it up and I continued adding the shaving cream till we got the consistency we were looking for. The kids loved it! It was soft, cold and they could make it into balls. Snow much fun we kept it in our table all week!
