Spread friendship, kindness and empathy with The We Have Heart Classroom Friendship Tree! For every act of kindness I add a heart blossom with the Frogs name to the Tree! Not only dose this draw attention to being kind to one other but promotes name recognition and basic math! The Frogs love finding their name and counting how many blossoms have their name!
In December I have the Candy Cane of kindness, works the same way but I add a stripe. This year the Frogs were continuing the acts of kindness and I wanted to keep up the good feelings. Our Classroom Tree always changes with the season and in the past we have used different techniques to fill our tree. This year we started early in February with the Heart Blossoms and added our spring wreaths to fill it out. The best part is watching our tree grow with Friendship!

To accompany our We Have Heart Friendship Tree we made these cute paper plate spring wreaths!
