As is usually the case I see something and get inspired to try it a little different. For our frogs I thought what fun to use the black glue for frog spots!
Before I introduce it to the class I try it first, good thing! I noticed The bottle I used to mix the black paint and glue worked well for mixing but came out in big globs when squeezed. I always have little ones who love to squeeze large amounts of glue.
To avoid this I transferred the mixed glue to an old empty glue bottle. Then I realized it might need a little sparkle…. Long ago I found these plastic salt and pepper shakers at the Dollar Store. I filled them with glitter and bring them out all the time, The kids love using them with play dough. They work great and the glitter comes out in small amounts. I taped around the top to avoid little finger opening it up and”dumping” so far so good!
