After looking at all the aspects of the Candy Corn, what does it look like? Do you see the color pattern? How does it feel? What does it smell like? Most importantly how does it taste?!! I like to prep this project by cutting out the outline shape in black construction paper. Make sure to cut enough paper so it covers both sides! Then you pull back the contact paper backing and stick your Candy Corn outline to it, and to save time I write each child’s name on the bottom left. When the children are ready to start you pull back the contact paper backing half way, leaving the other half still protected with the backing. Then they place the tissue paper in the sticky center. When they are finished I have them hold onto the white backing and pull as I hold the Candy Corn side. While I have them throw away the backing paper I carefully fold the sticky over so the Candy corn is covered on both sides. Cut around the edge and your ready to hang in the window!
