To start I was going to have the kids drop real Acorns in paint and then roll them around the wax paper. Only this did not work because you need a lot of paint for the brown Acorn paper to stick.

The Frogs love plopping the paint down and watching the brush bristles fan out. When they finished their painting I set the brown paper Acorn over the top of the wax paper and had the frogs gently push down around the edge. Then we set them aside to dry. Simply cut around the edge and hang in the window. I love Fall!
